Data fusion engine
The engine that turns soil, radar and forecast data into a plain plant-or-wait decision.
The engine combines readings from the field with satellite radar, which sees through cloud, and ECMWF weather forecasts. It compares the result with the moisture a seed needs to germinate.
For maize, it recommends planting only when the soil holds at least 15% water by volume and the forecast does not point to a false start. Otherwise the answer is to wait.
